The Diakonisches Bildungsinstitut Johannes Falk gGmbH (DBI) has been the first capito partner in Thuringia since January 2024.

The DBI provides training in basic socio-educational and social care professions, offers further and advanced training for people with and without disabilities, challenges and supports people in lifelong educational processes in professional contexts and accompanies them in these processes.

Years of experience in the education, support and empowerment of people with disabilities are the unique selling point of this recognized adult education provider in Thuringia. We also reach other target groups with our training and further education courses, such as specialists and employees from the care, health, social education and integration assistance sectors.

In the Sprachschmiede, a long-term project, we offer the translation of texts into easy-to-read formats. On the other hand, we offer a wide range of training opportunities, from raising awareness of Easy Reading to testing different tools and instruments to support communication for very different types of disability. We address various stakeholders in the region: employers, offices and authorities, (higher) education institutions, training centers, interested parties and people with support needs.
